This group, formerly “World In A Weekend,” builds lasting friendships via local and virtual meet-ups for those already retired, planning for retirement, or seeking information on full or part-time world or domestic relocation on fixed incomes allowing modest to luxury living. Same great leadership - new purpose!

We'll plan upscale, budget-friendly, excursions of varying lengths to domestic and international retirement destinations - where the U.S. dollar allows a comfortable lifestyle on fixed incomes as low as social security alone! Beyond the usual touristy stuff, trips will include a housing tour and/or presentation by a destination expert on local living and paths to residence.

Between excursions, we'll plan regular meet-ups to explore new destination ideas, practical retirement, budget, tax, investment and/or relocation tips, attend local events, and simply stay connected.

Local meets may include "virtual travel" (cinematic events filmed in exotic locales), multicultural festivals, embassy visits, planning meetings at member homes and/or sampling world wines & cuisine at local eateries, - and more!
