Horseshoe Lake via Lost Lake

Per our zoom meeting this evening, the Lime Mesa trip will not happen due to the ongoing Elkhorn Fire. So we have reconvened on Horseshoe Lake via Lost Lake trail, and possibly a jaunt up to Wheeler Peak from the east as time and fortitude will allow. There is an option to explore Middle Fork Lake on the way out as well.

Plan:
Friday August 8th: As a group, find a dispersed campsite on the way to TH.
Saturday August 9th: Depart in the AM up to Lost Lake to set up camp. Explore the area, or take a short hike to Horseshoe Lake and/or beyond to Wheeler Peak depending on weather and conditions.
Sunday August 10th: Hike out to our cars, lunch, and home.
There is an option to stay an extra night and hike out on Monday to explore Middle Fork Lake if desired.

Expected Temps: High 60's, lows in 30's
