This glorious week, we’ll bravely wander into the intellectual snack bar to debate whether science has been quietly rearranging religion and philosophy behind their backs. We’ll ponder God’s role in the cosmic meal plan (main course or polite after‑dinner mint?), take a running start at Kierkegaard’s Leap of Faith, and have a thoughtful chat with Spinoza’s version of God, who definitely didn’t RSVP traditionally.
And if there’s time—and the vibe feels right—we might sprinkle in just a dash of Aristotle, like philosophical seasoning. Not enough to overwhelm. Just enough to feel classy.

Even though few MeetUp people sign up, we typcally get 20-30 people in the discussion group. Here's the scoop. When you are over 50 years old, lots of weird and strange things happen and it's a great time to think about WHAT IT ALL MEANS.

In this discussion group, we will discuss a variety of philosophy topics, and try to understand how they affect our lives.

This will be low key: lots of talking, not much lecturing, and the concepts will be made easy. It will be FUN! I promise or your money back! Except it's free anyway!

We'll talk about cool things like Plato's allegory of the cave, the Myth of Sisyphus, and ALL SORTS of topics. Ovens will be available so we can BAKE OUR OWN PHILOSOPHY! I mean, conceptually.
