The Newport Galloway Marathon and Half Marathon Training Program is open to anyone who is interested in running a marathon or half marathon - whether you are looking to complete your first or improve your time! The training group welcomes all levels, from beginners to Boston qualifiers. Walk/Run pace groups are set up to ensure a comfortable and safe training pace for every ability. We will offer both time-goal and first-time training programs for both the Half and Full Marathon. Goal races will target area Summer Half Marathons and Fall/Early Winter Half and Full Marathons.

Meet at Run Newport to kickoff our season. OGs will introduce ourselves to any new runners and generally talk about the Galloway method and our season. We will also hear from Adam about Run Newport and other organized runs in town, and Dr. Liz from NPT Healthworks will come discuss PT and some groups she will be running for us this season. The GOAL BOARD with be there so we can add our individual season goals.
