About us

Next Chapter is for welcoming group of 35+ folk who are ready to make the most of their spare time, meet new faces, and see what happens when you say “why not?”

The idea is simple: doing something is often a much easier way to meet people than walking into a room and being expected to make small talk with strangers. So we'll give you something to do—and let the mingling happen naturally. 🙂

Expect a mix of events, from quiet and cultural to active, spontaneous and slightly competitive:
🎶 Gigs & live music
🎭 Theatre & comedy
🍕 Restaurants and food adventures
🏹 Trying something completely new
🚶 Walks, day trips & exploring
🏛️ Museums, exhibitions & cultural events
⚽ Sports, games & a little friendly competition
🍻 And yes, the occasional drink—but this isn't a group built around pub culture!

Have an idea for something you'd love to do? Send it my way! I'm always happy to hear suggestions, and if there's enough interest, I may just turn it into our next Meetup.

### A little note on events

Some activities will be free or pay-as-you-go, while others may require tickets or advance payment. Any ticketed events organised by me will help cover the annual cost of running the Meetup group—so there'll be no Revolut donation requests popping up in your inbox. 😊

So, whether you're looking for something to do this weekend, hoping to meet new people, or simply ready for a bit more adventure... welcome to your Next Chapter. ❤️

Token, Custom House Square, Unit 4 Mayor Street Lower, North Wall, Dublin 1, D01 DE47, Ireland, Dublin 1, D, IE

Purchase your tickets on Eventbrite (tickets include 12 tokens)

30 of us will head to Token for an afternoon of lunch, arcade games and a little friendly competition!!

We'll start with lunch so everyone can settle in and get to know the crew, then it's time to hit the arcade and see what everyone's made of. 😂

THE PLAN 🕹️
🍽️ 1:00PM — LUNCH
We'll kick things off with lunch at Token. Grab some food, have a chat and get acquainted with the group before the games begin.
🕹️ AFTER LUNCH — ARCADE HUSTLE
Then we'll head into the arcade for around an hour and a half of gaming.
Your ticket includes 12 arcade tokens, so you've got a good starting stash to work with. Pick your favourites, try something new, challenge someone to a rematch... whatever takes your fancy.

And don't worry — nobody needs to be an arcade expert. We're here to have fun, not qualify for the Olympics. 😎

Your ticket includes:
• 12 arcade tokens
• Event-related booking and handling costs

⚠️ IMPORTANT
