Manage a product - PM and Engineering Night

Details
To be or not to be a PM?
Can you walk the walk or are you just all talk? You improve by doing, not talking.
Collaborate with software engineers and work on a web/mobile product in small groups. Have fun working on features, design, and learn from each other.
The event will be co-hosted by Ruben Abergel, founder of http://hackerhours.com .
Why?
In a Quora post "What distinguishes the top 1% PM from the top 10% (http://www.quora.com/Product-Management/What-distinguishes-the-Top-1-of-Product-Managers-from-the-Top-10)," Ian McAllister lists among others:
• Simplify (features)
• Understand technical trade-offs
• Understand good design
As with anything else, it's all practice. Practice confidently and clearly collaborating with a software engineer and discuss these elements of a web or mobile product.
For Whom?
Anyone interested in working on a product, honing technical understanding, or connecting with folks from the software engineering community. Both aspiring and current PMs.
We are collaborating with the Ruby community:
