Attend and learn how to:

• Load balance Kubernetes services with NGINX Plus on Google Container Engine

• Use NGINX for internal and external load balancing of applications on Google Compute Engine

Speakers:

Nick Shadrin, Technical Solutions Architect

Nick is a web application delivery professional with many years of international experience. Worked in various roles for major IT vendors and cloud companies, currently residing in San Francisco and working as a Technical Solutions Architect for NGINX. Nick implemented web site optimization systems for some major well known websites.

Mikhail Pleshakov, Platform Integration Engineer Intern

Michael recently graduated from Bauman University (BMSTU) in Russia and joined NGINX as an intern in August. He works on developing integration solutions, assists technology partners with NGINX expertise, writes technical blog posts and deployment guides. Before NGINX he spent a year at Cisco as a software engineer intern working on the backend of the Video Surveillance system.

Sara Robinson, Developer Advocate

Sara is a Developer Advocate on Google's Cloud Platform team, where she helps with developer relations through online content, outreach and events. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business and International Studies from Brandeis University. When she's not programming, she can be found running, listening to country music, or finding the best ice cream in SF.

Sandeep Dinesh, Developer Advocate

Sandeep started coding and creating websites when he was 12 and hasn't stopped. He is passionate about building easy-to-use products people love. Before Google, he founded an IoT startup in agriculture and developed educational HTML5 games. At Google, Sandeep's goal is to make cloud easy and help developers create the next big thing. Sandeep loves video games, making music, and martial arts, and has Bachelors in Marketing and Computer Science.
