What we’re about
A WNY pottery community, aimed to make friends and learn pottery together. There will be a small cost per session for wear and tear and upkeep, as well as cost of material (you cannot bring your own clay- this is to make sure they all meet the same standard requirements for firing etc).
LGBT friendly with bring your own booze days, with mommy and me days (no booze) sprinkled in between to get children in on the fun!
We will learn about pinching, coiling, slab building, and take turns on the pottery wheel. Eventually looking to upgrade to more pottery wheels when we have enough people interested. Max 5 people per day as I have a small studio.
$30 for 25lb of clay on first meet up, and whenever you need more
bring a hand towel, a small 1 cup plastic container for your slip, and comfy clothes you expect to get dirty.
