Niagara Hiking Over 50's Group

The air quality is supposed to be cleared by Sunday.

Let's hike the Niagara Gorge! We'll start at Niagara Glen and finish up at Fisherman's parking lot, then walk the path back along the top to the parking lot.

This is an intermediate hike as we'll be climbing some rocky sections along the way, and the last uphill trek to the top can be challenging for beginners.

Be sure to bring:

• Proper hiking shoes
• Poles are helpful
• Hat
• Water and extra water
• Snacks
• Sunblock
• Bug Spray
• A sense of adventure

A bit about the Niagara Glen parking lot:

• It can get full, so always arrive 15-20 minutes early in case you have to wait for a spot.
• Parking is $8/hr, paid in advance at one of the machines.
• Carpooling is helpful for both the cost and the number of cars in the lot.

Please remember that gas is expensive and so is parking. It is good Etiquette to share in the cost.

We will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. so please be on time or early.
