About us
Digital Nomads work remotely, either from home, coffee shops, co-working spaces, or public libraries etc, using laptops and the internet instead of the traditional stationary workplace.
Nice Nomads include freelancers, contractors, telecommuters, entrepreneurs, small business owners and the self-employed.
We have a mix of events for co-working, where you are free to work or chat with other members about projects, share ideas, exchange insights, address challenges, and potentially offer mutual feedback on projects, and some themed events for discussions and learning.
Some example discussion topics:
- The sharing economy and the future of work.
- Tackling loneliness when working from home.
- Getting motivated and inspired by personal development books.
- Our daily routine and what sets us up for the day ahead.
- Peer-review each other's written material: websites, blogs, eBooks, newsletters, emails.
- Internet culture and the effective use of social media platforms.
- Tips on our favourite blogs, books, articles, videos, keynote talks...

Can Spatial Tech Help Nice Old Town in Summer?
Kind & Co., 16 Rue Delille, Nice, FRSummer is coming, and we all know what happens: Nice old town and the Promenade get super hot and packed, so locals start avoiding them and tourists just push through it.
Could new tech make those places easier and more fun on the busiest days, instead of stressful? In this learning session with guest researcher Jonathan Courtois (Université Côte d’Azur), who works on motion sensing for compact devices and even spatial projects, will explore a new way of sensing movement, then imagine ideas like pop up signs that point people toward a less crowded street, or simple motion reactive cues that keep foot traffic flowing.
Guest researcher: Jonathan Courtois
Jonathan Courtois is a PhD and research engineer at LEAT (Université Côte d’Azur) working at the intersection of embedded systems and next generation vision, including event based vision and spiking neural networks. He focuses on how these approaches can run on compact hardware under real world constraints, and he is especially curious about advanced applications, including space contexts.Looking forward to seeing you there!
