About us
Night Owls Language Exchange and Practice
We're a group of language learners who prefer to do our studying and practicing in the evenings. Whether you're picking up your first foreign language or you're looking to get more comfortable speaking, this is a casual space to learn together without the pressure. We focus on actual conversation and practical skills rather than textbook grammar drills.
Each meetup, we rotate between different formats to keep things interesting. Sometimes we'll pair up for one-on-one conversation practice, other times we'll do group discussions around interesting topics, and occasionally we'll work through specific skills like pronunciation or listening comprehension. We have members at various levels, so don't worry if you're a beginner. Everyone here remembers what that felt like, and we're all just trying to improve.
If you're someone who gets a second wind at night and wants to make real progress with a language in a friendly, low-key setting, come join us. No registration required, just show up and introduce yourself. We'd love to have you.
