Who are the people who send us scam texts and emails?
This non-fiction series of eight episodes (4 hours total) delves into the secret lives of people forced to deceive others against their will. A sister's daring attempt to extricate her brother from a real-life "scam factory" adds to the gripping narrative.

Our selection for our first Podd Club event is Scam Factory (by Wondery but also available on Apple, Spotify, and I Heart Radio). Spaces are few: Don't forget to add "confirmed" in the comments when you finish listening (see below).

Welcome to Podd Club!
This club within our Meetup group is like a book club, but instead of reading a book, you will listen to a podcast. The discussion will be a small, intimate in-person event.

The listening selection could be one podcast episode or episodes in a short series on a true crime or paranormal topic (and not labeled fiction). In either case, it should take much less time than reading a novel. Every Podd Club event will be a new selection (instead of ongoing).

Because the venue is a member's private residence, the actual address will be sent to the final list of CONFIRMED attendees the day before. The location is in Midtown, Central Phoenix and easily reachable by light rail and/or bus.

Very Important:
Write "confirmed" in the comments when you've finished listening to the selection to let us know you're still planning to come. Then we'll send you the midtown PHX address.
