If youāve ever longed for a community that feels both sacred and realāwhere people speak from the soul and laugh with their whole body, where healing doesnāt require performance and growth doesnāt demand perfectionāthis might be the thing youāve been quietly searching for. Weāre a slow-burning revolution disguised as a walk on the beach. A questing fellowship of the curious and the queer, the neurodivergent, and all tender-hearted humans exploring what it means to come Homeāto ourselves, to one another, and to the world we wish to restore.
Nine Steps to Home is a living thing: not a checklist, not a self-help gimmick, but a personal exodus that takes us from where we are to where we aspire to be. A spiral staircase inward, outward, upward. It moves gently through nine realms of human experience, each one building upon the last, creating a foundation that supports our growth and transformation. You go at your own pace. You rest. You rise. You double back. We walk beside you with mindful intentionānot to fix you or teach you, not to impress or advise, but simply to see you and to be with you.
Together we move forward, offering support and guidance to one another, step by step, until we find ourselves at Homeāwithin and all around. š

š Practice Lab
Lajja Yoga, 10851 SE Main St., Milwaukie, OR, USš Step into a space where all of you is welcome.
Come and sit with thoughtful seekers who carry their own questions, practical problems, old wounds, unfinished dreams, and hopes for something more.
Take a breath. Let your shoulders relax. Feel what itās like to be met with warmth, attention, honesty, and enough room to hear yourself think again.
Our Practice Lab is a guided two-hour exploration of the real work of being human: caring for the body, cultivating nourishing relationships, finding direction, facing difficult truths, reclaiming creativity and power, and restoring our fragmented lives.
ā What to Expect:
A grounding breath and body-awareness practice, a short teaching, time to write, and opportunities for honest conversation. There is no pressure to speak or perform. Your presence alone is what matters.
This is a living space for orientation, belonging, and movement. Itās a chance to step away from the noise and see the larger pattern of your life. Where you are, what needs care, what truths youāre ready to face, and how to take the next honest step.
Whatever brings you in, youāre welcome here. Some come looking for direction, others because theyāre longing for connection. Some are recovering from addiction or feeling burnt out and disconnected from themselves and the world. Some come to learn that life contains more beauty, meaning, depth, and intimacy than theyāve been given room to explore.
Come and see. šŖ·
