Howdy Folks—
Like the Phoenix, we are reborn from the ashes of the past. This is a group for varied photographic adventures but we mostly try to emulate the style of early 20th-century photographers/models like, Edward Weston/Charis Willson, E.J. Bellocq, Alfred Stieglitz/Georgia O'Keeffe, Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Eadweard Muybridge, Alfred Cheney Johnston, and a ton of others.
On the other hand, we recognize that some photographers want to work in the style of, Gowland, Helmut, Arbus, Yager, Avedon, and a metric ton of others, and that's okay as well.
Although we might try to copy their visual style, for the most part, we use modern, digital, cameras, usually DSLRs, or more recently mirrorless digital cameras.
I hope you will be able to join us for one of our: Nude in Nature events, outdoor photography workshops, photography classes, wilderness trips (a park), gallery shows, modeling classes, or other fine events.
