🌺 Guru Purnima 2026 Celebration 🌺
Details
🌺 Guru Purnima Brahmotsavam 2026 🌺
KAILASA Los Angeles USA – Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple
With the divine blessings of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, we joyfully invite all devotees, families, and friends to the sacred celebration of Guru Purnima Brahmotsavam.
Guru Purnima is the most auspicious day to offer our gratitude at the Guru's feet, receive His boundless grace, deepen our connection to the Master, and celebrate as one sangha through worship, seva, and devotion.
✨ Auspicious Alignment
This year, Guru Purnima dawns under Śravaṇā Nakṣatra—the star of sacred listening and of the Guru-Śiṣya Paramparā itself. The Pūrṇimā (Full Moon) Tithi prevails until 7:36 AM on July 29, making the early morning offerings extraordinarily powerful. To offer puja while the Pūrṇimā Tithi still shines is to receive the fullest grace of the Guru.
🌺 Celebration Schedule
Saturday, July 25
🔥 10:00 AM – Pashupatastra Homa
The Pashupatastra is the supreme weapon of Paramashiva, the Lord of all beings. This sacred homa invokes His fierce, protective grace to incinerate karmic blockages, negativity, and all that stands between you and liberation. To sit in the presence of this fire ritual is to let Paramashiva Himself burn away what you are ready to release, allowing you to emerge lighter, clearer, and surrendered. Do not miss this rare opportunity.
Wednesday, July 29 – Guru Purnima
🕉️ 6:30 AM – Guru Mudi Procession (within Pūrṇimā Tithi)
🌸 7:30 AM – Darshan, Alankar Seva, Annakut Seva & Pushpa Yagam
📿 8:30 AM – Guru Purnima Satsang
🙏 9:30 AM – Pada Puja
All devotees are invited to join us in Los Angeles on the morning of July 29 to personally offer puja to Swamiji during this sacred celebration. Please bring your puja sets and be part of this beautiful offering together as a community.
🍚 Anna Dhan – Sacred Offering for Guru Purnima & Homa
As part of this year's Brahmotsavam, we are preparing the Annakut—a mountain of sacred food offerings for Guru Purnima on July 29, along with offerings for the Pashupatastra Homa on July 25.
Every item offered is Anna Dhan, one of the highest forms of seva. Your offering becomes part of the worship itself, supporting the temple celebrations and serving devotees with the Guru's grace. Even a single item offered with devotion becomes a sacred contribution.
