What we’re about
NixOS is a Linux distribution with a unique approach to package management and system configuration. Built on top of the Nix package manager (http://nixos.org/nix), it is completely declarative, makes upgrading systems reliable, and has many other advantages (http://nixos.org/nixos/about.html).
We welcome everyone with interest in NixOS. Our events are accessible to newcomers while still being enjoyable to NixOS veterans.
In general, we love functional programming! We get together to learn more about good functional code, functional programming languages, and their innovations.
