  • Let's Go For A Yoga Hike at Harriman!

    Bring your backpacks and yoga mats! We will hike about 2.5 miles in from the trail head, stop at a nice open area where we will do a 45 minute Vinyasa Flow. After yoga, we'll take a break to snack and soak in the moment then finish the loop for another 2.5 miles. This is a moderate level hike, the yoga flow will be appropriate for all levels. What better way to bring in summer?! Just 2 days after the summer solstice:-)

  • Bike Ride from Hoboken to Liberty State Park with lunch at Surf City

    We will bike to Liberty state park and back with lunch at Surf City. Ride is approximately 14 miles and is for both casual and intermediate riders and people do this ride on road bikes, hybrids, and mountain bikes (though I think a hybrid is the best). Bring your bike and meet Mike outside Blue Eyes Restaurant where we will start and end the ride. We will stop for lunch on the way back, after we have gone through Liberty State Park. *Helmets are highly encouraged for safety Note that if you are driving into Hoboken allow extra time to find parking. There is a paid parking lot right next to Union Hall (entrance on 3rd street). On Sundays, metered parking is free and you can usually find a metered parking space on the street. We go at a casual pace (7 - 10 MPH). There are a few areas where we need to ride on the street. Most of the ride is along the waterfront and in Liberty State Park. Remember to bring your helmet, water, and a lock for your bike. Above are pics of where we will be meeting. -Mike
