Cabin Camping @ Camp Spofford, New Hampshire {6 nights}

Details

We have a cabin-type accommodation reserved and we can have up to 12 ladies on the one side (6 bunks) and up to 16 gentlemen (8 bunks) on the other side. Unlike the cabin from the last couple of years, this one is much nicer--it has indoor bathrooms on the ladies side, and the men's side! (So, you won't need to worry about lions, and tigers, and bears if you get up at 3AM!) And, it has air conditioning (which we will almost certainly not need), and men, the thermostat is on our side, so we are in control! (Or at least we think so, just like in real life!)

I don't know what the inside of this cabin looks like but I am planning to go to the camp on July 5 with my kids and I will try to get pics and post them on this event page.

There is also an option to (possibly) have a private accommodation in a tentel, which is a small, A-frame shaped cabin. It has a full bed (which could sleep two), and a set of bunk beds. (Depending on the sign up, we may need to share but only if we need to.) The first ones to register will get first dibs on a private (unshared) tentel (or a bottom bunk in the cabin.)

The tentels do not have bathrooms but the bathrooms are a very short stroll. The tentels do have electricity, a dresser, a fan, and a mirror. (There is no a/c but I have never needed it in 30+ years since we're in the crisp, cool mountains of New Hampshire.)

So, the cabin has indoor bathrooms and air conditioning; the tentels are (potentially) more private. Pick your preference.

[BUT THE CABIN WILL DEF BE MORE FUN!!]

To register, first sign up here on the Meetup page. Then, when you are ready to register and pay with the camp, text me (Don) for the link: 973.634.6556.

The costs will be $425 for 6 nights. This includes three gut-busting, all-you-can-eat buffet-style meals per day and all of the activities. (I know, the price is insanely low for all of that! As I like to say, "It costs more to stay home!")

The camp is asking for payment in full at registration, but most of it will be refundable if your plans changed, minus a portion taken as a deposit.

So, if you want in, here is the camp web page:

https://www.campspofford.org/.

Surf away, and then check out some of our meetup pics from the last 3 awesome years:

And then, when you are convinced that you do not want to miss this opportunity, sign up here on the meetup page so we can keep you informed about additional details as they emerge. And you can pay your registration fee at the link above to reserve your spot in the cabin or a tentel. (After you register and pay in full, let me know and I will add you to the reserved list, with all of the benefits of bottom bunks and private tentels. First to pay gets their way!**)

The camp is about 4 hours from North Jersey. We always pull together carpools, and we'll be hammering that out very soon. Lemino if you have any questions.

{I can tell you from experience that the camp tends to fill up. I have been on their waiting list many times....because I waited too long!}

Start by replying here on the meetup page so we know who is in. And then register at the link above ASAP to reserve your spot and your early bird benefits (e.g., bottom bunk, private tentel, etc.)
