Flotilla!! Delaware Tubing/Rafting (Port Jervis/Narrowsburg, NY) BYOFloat/vest

First Floatilla of the year!

We will meet at the National Recreation Parking Lot, North of Port Jervis on Rt. 97. The place is called the USNPS Upper Delaware River Information Kiosk and Boat Launch. It's in Port Jervis/Narrowsburg, NY. (See map & photos in photos below.)

It is 100-200 yards or so north of the intersection of Rt. 31 & Rt. 97 in Port Jervis/Narrowsburg, NY. (These are the coordinates, which you can put right into your GPS: 41.4252785,-74.7595908)

You bring your own float (tube, raft, air mattress, kayak, log, etc.) and life vest and join our armada! Dick's Sporting Goods always has good deals on tubes.

We will inflate the tubes/floats then paddle down the Class I-II rapids, possibly stop for swimming and cliff jumping! (Yes, that is Me/Christine,, cliff jumping in the photo!)

Don't forget water bottle (I freeze mine), swimming and dry clothes, towel, watershoes/sneakers, snacks, and sunblock! We also usually eat lunch at around noon right after we finish filling the rafts, and before we launch, so bring whatever you're eating.

NOTE: If this is your first time coming with us, we recommend you drive to the launch point with someone who has been there before. This is in the boonies so the GPS can be confused AND the cell service is fairly lousy. If you get lost, you may not be able to reach us by cell phone.
