🚴‍♂️ Columbia Trail Fall Bike Ride

Join us for a wonderful group ride along the scenic Columbia Trail, starting in High Bridge and heading toward Long Valley.

Highlights:
• Beautiful fall foliage and river views
• Ride through the stunning ans picturesque Ken Lockwood Gorge, one of New Jersey’s most scenic spots
• A chance to see the majestic Clydesdale horses
• Optional coffee & baked goods stop at Bex in Califon

Route Details:
• Out and back ride with a slight variation: on the return, we’ll take a smooth asphalt road in Califon parallel to the river before rejoining the trail.
• The Ken Lockwood Gorge section is optional.
• Two short stretches in the gorge (~50 yards each) must be walked due to erosion control rocks placed by the state.
• Suitable for gravel, hybrid, mountain, or unicycle bikes (🚫 leave the road bikes home).
• We’ll ride at a friendly, social pace and keep the group together.

What to Bring:
• Helmet (highly recommend - I respect your right to choose)
• Water & snacks
• Properly inflated tires (I’ll bring a pump to share)
