It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood Virtual Art Exhibition and Discussion

Details

I'm very excited to announce a FREE VIRTUAL ART EXHIBITION and DISCUSSION via ZOOM on 9/19/2021. Here is an overview of the event:

Nancy Ori, well-known NJ photographer, author and international instructor, and Andrew Darlow, award-winning author, photographer and consultant, are opening the door for artists to network and join in a motivating conversation.

The two artists have collaborated many times in the past teaching together. They have now written articles for each other’s newsletters on the topic of "It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood for a Walk". The conference content is a look back at the creative inspiration they gathered from nature and how they were able to generate positive energy and artwork during this past year.

On September 19, 2021 at 3pm Eastern, Nancy and Andrew will host a free virtual meeting with an opportunity for other artists to network and share their thoughts about their own journeys, give helpful tips for younger artists, and help make some plans for the future. To get the discussion rolling, Nancy and Andrew will be showing their most recent work.

They have invited four additional artists to present their work that was inspired and created during the pandemic. The 6 artists will have time to talk about what inspired them during the pandemic and how that inspiration impacted their lives and work. The four guest artists are: Dot Kuehn, who is now printing on both sides of her inkjet papers and then folding to create sculptural works of art; Gerry Heydt, a traditional American Impressionist oil painter whose students inspired her to create in new ways; Charles Chessler, a NYC-based portrait photographer who has been inspired to photograph from his computer monitor; and Mike Pach, who is an award-winning photographer and author based in Colorado Springs, CO.

Along with important information about how to manage an art business through trying times, a major part of the conference discussion with attendees will be about what has been learned and how to draw inspiration from difficult situations.
