See all- Educational Outreach at Hopewell Harvest Fair – Mercer CountyHopewell Elementary School, Hopewell, NJ
NJveg will answer questions and provide free literature on the benefits of a plant-based life. Come out for an hour, or the entire event. Help spread the word that going vegan saves animals, protects the environment, and improves your health! No experience is necessary. We particularly need help setting up (at 8:30am) and packing up (to about 4:30pm). Please let us know what times you are available.

- Walking + Vegan Dining - Middlesex/Somerset CountiesNorth Brunswick Community Park, North Brunswick, NJ
The 108th in NJveg’s hiking/walking + vegan dining series will start with a 2.2 mile walk at North Brunswick Community Park. We’ll meet at the Dog Park parking area off Rt 130 (GPS coordinates 40.439874, -74.484472). We’ll then head to vegan restaurant Veggie Heaven (920 Hamilton St Somerset, NJ 08873) for an early dinner. NJveg is co-hosting this event with the American Vegan Society! This celebration cruise supports AVS and their remarkable programs. They have been promoting veganism since 1960. Meet the incredible Freya Dinshah who is retiring after 65 years of service to the organization.
