Educational Outreach at Allaire Village Flea Market - Monmouth County
Allaire State Park, 524 Allaire Rd., Allaire State Park, Farmingdale, NJ, US
NJveg will answer questions and provide free literature on the benefits of a plant-based diet. Come out for an hour, or the entire event. Help spread the word that going vegan saves animals, protects the environment, and improves your health! No experience is necessary. We particularly need help setting up (at 7am) and packing up (to about 2:30pm). Please let us know what times you are available.

Hiking + Vegan Dining - Monmouth County
Allaire StatePark/Allaire Village, 4265 Atlantic Ave, Farmingdale, NJ, US
The 110th in NJveg’s hiking/walking + vegan dining series will start with an easy post-outreach hike at Allaire State Park (info, map). Meet at the Allaire Village parking lot (GPS coordinates 40.157872, -74.129889). Let us know what restaurant you’re interested in! Please review NJveg’s restaurant trip guidelines.

Volunteer Work Day at Marley Meadows Animal Sanctuary - Atlantic County
Marley Meadows Animal Sanctuary, 1527 Somers Point Rd, Egg Harbor Township, NJ, US
Join NJveg for a volunteer work day. We'll be helping the vegan non-profit Marley Meadows Animal Sanctuary. We highly recommend bringing a water bottle, bug spray, sunblock, work gloves, work boots, and clothes that can get dirty. If you’d like to donate, you can do so at the sanctuary or online.

Children accompanied by parent welcome. Please sign up only if you are serious about attending and plan to attend for the full time. If anything comes up and you need to cancel, let us know ASAP, so that we may fill your spot. We’ve had a problem with last minute cancellations – don’t be that person!

Join NJveg for a volunteer work day! We’ll be helping the vegan nonprofit sanctuary Uncle Neil’s Home. We highly recommend bringing a water bottle, bug spray, sunblock, work gloves, work boots, and clothes that can get dirty. If you’d like to donate, you can do so at the sanctuary or online.

Space is limited, children 10+ accompanied by parent at all times. Please sign up only if you are serious about attending and plan to attend for the full time. If anything comes up and you need to cancel, let us know ASAP, so that we may fill your spot. We’ve had a problem with people cancelling at the last minute - don’t be that person! The address will be provided privately to volunteers before the event.
