Meditation Class in Richmond
Diversity Richmond, 1407 Sherwood Avenue, Richmond, VA, USWe offer a weekly meditation class for the Richmond community emphasizing techniques for training the mind to benefit both ourselves and those around us. In our April classes (April 13th & 20th) we’ll explore how meditation helps us uncover the real source of peace within. By learning to settle the mind through simple breathing meditation and developing wisdom about where anxious thoughts come from, we can experience genuine inner stability. With these practices we can transform anxiety at its root and discover the calm, confident, and peaceful person we already have the potential to be.
Each session stands on its own, so you’re welcome to attend one class or the entire series. Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike, these classes offer practical tools you can apply immediately to create more happiness—starting from within.
Everyone is welcome! Our tradition of Buddhism makes no distinctions on the basis of gender, sexuality, race, background, or income. And it doesn't matter if you identify with a different religion. Buddhist teachings can benefit everyone!
