Most developers have heard of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, but what exactly are they? How do they work, and why do they matter? In this presentation, we’ll explore the most common OAuth 2.0 flows, how they function, and their practical applications. We’ll also cover OpenID Connect and its relationship with OAuth 2.0. Additionally, we’ll examine recent security enhancements in the specifications, understanding the problems they address and why they’re important.
