Denver Does Tango - Free Beginner Tango Festival

WHAT TO EXPECT
Have you ever wanted to dance with a partner? Do you want to be part of a community that values connection, friendship, and fun? The Argentine Tango community in Colorado is one of the warmest and most fun Tango communities in the US. Come join us.
Beginner classes: If you can walk you can dance, all you need is willingness, a little curiosity and your presence. No partner required, students will rotate in classes or stick with their partner if they choose.
Saturday Evening Gala: This is as much a social event and party as a dance event. There will be live music and performances in addition to social dancing as well as light refreshments and a cash bar. Come socialize, watch the dancing, enjoy the performances, and get on the floor as much or as little as you are comfortable with.
In addition to the beginner classes throughout the weekend: There is a "date-night" lesson Saturday night immediately before the Evening Gala.
Light snacks and a community potluck will be provided.

Coffee and tea provided during the day & cash bar in the evening.

WHAT TO WEAR
Ideally, you want shoes that you can pivot in (i.e. that do not have a grippy sole). Smooth or leather bottom shoes or socks will suffice. High heels are not needed.
