πΏ FALL WALK - Walk: Tommy Thompson Park (Come See The Skyline) π¦ - 12KM
Details
# ππ¦ Fall Walk: Tommy Thompson Park π
### Wildlife, Lake Views & One of Toronto's Best Fall Walks
Looking for a walk that feels like you've left the city without actually leaving Toronto?
Join us for a fall walk through Tommy Thompson Park, one of Toronto's most unique outdoor spaces.
The park is famous for its wildlife and birding, with more than 300 species recorded, as well as its beautiful views across Lake Ontario and back toward the Toronto skyline.
In the fall, the cooler air and quieter trails make this a particularly nice time to explore the park. We'll follow the trails toward the lighthouse, take a break along the way, and then make our way back.
It's a long walk, but the terrain is generally easy. The goal is to enjoy the scenery, get some fresh air, and spend a few hours walking and talking with other people.

## πΆββοΈ What We'll Do
We'll meet near the pavilion and begin our walk through Tommy Thompson Park.
Along the way we'll:
- Explore the park's trails πΏ
- Look for birds and other wildlife π¦
- Enjoy views of Lake Ontario π
- Take in the Toronto skyline π
- Make our way toward the lighthouse
- Stop for a break and some photos πΈ
- Loop back to the pavilion
The walk will take approximately 3 hours, including a break.
This is a longer walk, so you should be comfortable walking at a steady pace for several hours.
No dogs are permitted in the park.

## π Fall Weather & Expectations
This is an outdoor walk, and Tommy Thompson can be exposed to the wind coming off Lake Ontario.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring comfortable walking shoes.
The trail isn't particularly difficult, but the distance is the challenge. If you're not comfortable being on your feet and walking steadily for around three hours, this may not be the right walk for you.
