### Toronto's Haunted Fairgrounds, Dark History & One Building I Don't Like Being Near

The Exhibition Grounds have spent more than a century hosting crowds, celebrations, soldiers, shows, and some of Toronto's biggest events.
But underneath all that history is a darker side.

The Exhibition Grounds are said to be one of the most haunted places in Toronto — and I'll be honest: this is the one place on my ghost walks that genuinely scares me.

There's something about the atmosphere here.
Some buildings have an energy that feels different. And when you know what happened in them, it's hard not to look at them a little differently.

On this evening ghost walk, we'll explore the grounds and hear stories of soldiers, settlers, performers, animals, tragedies, and people who may never have completely left.

This isn't just about trying to scare you.
It's about discovering the strange history hiding underneath one of Toronto's most familiar landmarks.

## 👻 What We'll Explore

We'll begin outside Medieval Times and make our way across the Exhibition Grounds toward the Princes' Gates.
Along the way, we'll hear stories connected to:

• 🏚️ The General Service Building
• 💀 The Stanley Barracks — the building that genuinely creeps me out
• 🐎 The Horse Palace
• 🏠 Scadding Cabin
• 👻 Other strange stories, unexplained encounters, and haunted corners of the grounds

We'll finish at the Princes' Gates.
We'll keep a steady walking pace and will not be entering any of the buildings.

## 🕯️ Why This One Is Different

I've done a lot of ghost walks around Toronto.
This is the one that actually makes me uncomfortable.
Maybe it's the history. Maybe it's the buildings. Maybe it's simply knowing what happened here and then standing there after dark.

Whatever it is, the Exhibition Grounds have always felt different to me.

So come prepared for some genuinely creepy stories — and maybe a few moments where we all wonder whether we should really be standing there. 👻
