# πŸ‘»πŸŒ™ The Ghosts of Cabbagetown

### A 90-Minute Evening Ghost Walk Through One of Toronto’s Most Historic Neighbourhoods

Cabbagetown has beautiful Victorian houses, quiet streets, old cemeteries, and a history that goes back generations.
It also has ghosts.

Join me for a 90-minute evening walking tour through Cabbagetown, where we'll explore some of the neighbourhood's strangest stories, unsettling legends, and darker pieces of Toronto's past.

We'll begin beneath the glass of Allan Gardens, then make our way through the streets of Cabbagetown, stopping along the way for stories of mysterious creatures, haunted buildings, old prisons, cemeteries, restless spirits, and the people who may never have quite left.
This isn't a traditional history walk.

It's a ghost tour β€” so expect some history, some local legends, a little mystery, and a few stories that are difficult to explain.
And, of course, we'll have a few laughs along the way.

🍸 The Winchester Hotel β€” spirits that may have never checked out
🏚️ Winchester Street β€” haunted houses and Victorian secrets
⛓️ The Don Jail & Bridgepoint β€” where the walls remember everything
πŸ„ Riverdale Farm β€” and its strange connection to the old Don Jail
⚰️ The Toronto Necropolis β€” a city of the dead beneath a city of the living
πŸ•―οΈ St. James Town & St. James' Cemetery β€” where the living and the dead share the same neighbourhood
And much, much more...

## πŸŒ™ What Makes This Tour Different?

This is a new ghost walk for the group, created specifically around Cabbagetown.
Rather than simply walking from one location to another, the route has been curated around the stories so that each stop connects to the next.

We'll move through the neighbourhood at a comfortable pace, stopping along the way while I share the stories behind the places we're visiting.
Some stories are historical.
Some are local legends.
Some are downright strange.
You'll have to decide for yourself which ones you believe. πŸ‘»

## πŸ•―οΈ A Little About the Tour

This is a 90-minute evening walk.
We will be walking outdoors throughout the tour and will not be entering buildings.
Some locations may be viewed from outside or from nearby public spaces.
Please be respectful of residents, private property, and cemetery grounds as we make our way through the neighbourhood.

The $10 fee helps support the group and covers the extra research, preparation, and curation that goes into creating these ghost walks.
These aren't simply walks where we meet up and wander around.
I've put together a specific route, researched the stories, and created a series of stops designed to turn the walk into an actual storytelling experience.
You're paying for the experience β€” not just the walking.
