🍁 The Fall Colours of Brickworks (Thanksgiving Walk) 🍂

Celebrate Thanksgiving with a scenic fall walk through Toronto’s ravines as we make our way to Evergreen Brick Works. Along the way, enjoy the crisp autumn air, brilliant fall colours, and a peaceful escape from the city.

We’ll spend about 30 minutes exploring the Brick Works, taking in its history, trails, and unique setting before heading back through Mount Pleasant Cemetery — one of Toronto’s largest and oldest cemeteries, with plenty of history and beautiful seasonal scenery.
For those who’d like to keep the day going, we’ll finish with a cozy Thanksgiving lunch at Swiss Chalet.

Their seasonal special is expected to be around $18.29 plus tax and tip and includes stuffing, cranberry sauce, your choice of side, a roll, and a slice of pie — a pretty good way to finish a Thanksgiving walk! 🦃🥧

📍 Meetup Location: I will be standing outside of ST. CLAIR SUBWAT STATION right beside the McDonald wearing my Moose Hat. 🦌
🕛 Meetup Time: 12:00pm
I will only wait 5 minutes.

If you are only joining us at Swiss Chalet and are not attending the walk, please sign up for the separate Swiss Chalet event. The $5 Meetup fee applies to that event.

### More About the Brick Works 🧱

From 1889 through the 1980s, the Don Valley Brick Works was one of Canada’s leading brickyards. In the 1990s, the former quarry was restored by the City of Toronto and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, transforming the site into the natural and cultural destination we know today.
Opened to the public in 1996, Evergreen Brick Works now combines history, nature, wildlife, and trails in the heart of Toronto’s ravine system. In autumn, the surrounding landscape comes alive with reds, oranges, and golds, making it one of the city's great places to enjoy the fall colours.
