### 🌰 Hogg’s Hollow Fall Walk & Lunch! 🍂

Join us for a beautiful fall walk through Hogg’s Hollow, one of Toronto’s charming historic neighbourhoods tucked away in North York. With its winding roads, forested trails, stone bridges, and scenic ravines, this area feels like a hidden village in the middle of the city — especially when the leaves turn golden and the air starts to feel like autumn.

We’ll explore the valley around the Don River West Branch, taking in the neighbourhood’s natural beauty and historic character. Along the way, we’ll touch on the story of James Hogg, the Scottish settler associated with the area’s early mill, and the tragic Hogg’s Hollow Disaster of 1960, when five workers lost their lives during tunnel construction.
After our walk, we’ll head to Swiss Chalet for lunch, because nothing says fall like comfort food and good company! 🍗

### 📍 Meetup Location — Please Read Carefully!

We’re meeting directly in front of the Shell gas station store entrance.
Please stand right in front of the entrance to the store, where people walk in and out.
Look for my famous Moose Hat! 🦌

### 🍽️ After the Walk — We’d Love You to Join Us for Lunch!

The walk is only part of the fun! After exploring Hogg’s Hollow, we’ll head to Swiss Chalet for lunch and more conversation.

We encourage everyone to join us, even if you can only stay for a little while. Some of our best conversations happen after the activity, when we share stories, get to know one another, and start building friendships.

The walk brings us together, but spending time together afterward is often where those connections really begin. We’d love for you to be part of it!

Everyone pays for their own meal.

### 👥 About the Group

Organized by Mathew. Questions? Post on the event wall or email [torontomoviesandoutings@hotmail.com](mailto:torontomoviesandoutings@hotmail.com).

🍂 Enjoy the walk. Stay for lunch. Leave with new connections.
