About us
Our primary mission is to build a dance community that is focused on sharing the joy and benefits of dance here in Northern Colorado. The organizers of NoCo Swing Dance are all volunteers and all of the proceeds from our events go towards building the dance community and towards future dance events. One of our primary goals is to make our dances accessible and affordable to all. We would not be able to do this without volunteers to help us with our events and in meeting many of the challenges that a small but growing community faces. As a community we are always looking for feedback and we would like to encourage others whether you are a beginner or advanced dancer to join us.

March Progressive Classes (4-week series) - Introduction to Swing/Intro to Lindy
Northside Aztlan Community Center, 112 E Willow St, Fort Collins, co, USOur Progressive Lessons continue in March at the Northside Aztlan Community Center.
This series will start on March 4th and will run until March 25th.
We will be offering an Introduction to Swing Dancing class from 6:30-7:30 and Introduction to Lindy Hop from 7:30-8:30.
We are excited that Kali and Eicke will be teaching this months classes.
Because this is a four-week series, we will be charging $40 for one progressive series. That averages out to about $10 a class! If you would like to take both classes we will be offering the second class at 1/2 price.
We take Venmo (@NoCo-SwingDance ) or cash or check on or before the first night of the class. Please arrive early so we can get you checked in. Also, if you know you will be attending, please email us so we can get a head count at nocoswingdance@gmail.com.
6:30 PM - Introduction to Swing with Kali and Eicke.
This class will be focusing on basic 6 count footwork, lead follow connection and introducing a number of moves to start you on your swing dance journey. This is the perfect class if you are just starting out and/or have not partnered dance in a while.
This will be a beginner friendly class.
7:30 PM - Introduction to Lindy Hop with Kali and Eicke.
Lindy Hop is a partner dance that orginated in Harlem in the 1920's and it is currently danced around the world. Lindy Hop is made up of both 6 and 8 count moves and it is considered a truly american dance. This class will focus on introducing the basic footwork along with a number of moves including swing outs and lindy circles.
This will be a beginner friendly class.
Please remember that NoCo Swing Dance is a very beginner friendly community, and we absolutely love new dancers.
No experience or partner is ever required.

Swing into Spring Dance with Espresso Gypsy Jazz Band
Club Tico, 1599 City Park Drive, Fort Collins, CO, USCome joins us for our Swing into Spring Dance 2nd and 4th Friday Dance featuring Espresso Swing and Gypsy Jazz Band. We are so excited to have them back and there is no doubt that we will have a swinging good time!
Price of admission for our Live Band Nights is $15 and $10 for students. This includes an introduction to swing or intermediate level swing dance lesson starting at 6:00 and dancing until 10:00.
Doors open at 6:00 and our lessons will begin shortly after the doors open.
No partner is ever needed and no experience is required.
Please remember that NoCo Swing Dance is a non-profit organization and all of the funds that we take in go directly towards our events.
