Walk and Talk at Coot Lake and Boulder Reservoir
Details
UPDATE: Still meeting same place same time, but we've updated our intended route just a bit below. Will be 3-4 miles, mostly flat.
Join us for a weekday morning walk and conversation!
We'll meet at the Coot Lake trailhead, and do an out-and-back hike along the east side of Boulder Reservoir (about 3 miles, mostly flat), turning around as soon as we reach the reservoir parking lot. This will give us a wide, flat gravel path to walk on and some lovely views of the mountains across the reservoir.
When we arrive back at Coot Lake, there will be an option to do an additional small loop (about 1 mile, flat) around the lovely Coot Lake.
Note: Parking can be tight at the Coot Lake trailhead, but there is another much larger parking lot directly across 63rd St at Tom Watson Park. There is a toilet available (but no running water) at the trailhead.
Also, note that there is no entrance fee for the Boulder Reservoir this time of year.
