Intro to Node

NodeSchool

NodeSchool is an open source community that helps interested beginners learn Node from scratch through a fun, hands-on workshop.

You'll work through practical and fun tutorials on your own laptop with the help and support of experienced Node developers. The lessons contain several exercises for you to complete at your own pace. No previous Node experience is required, but some familiarity with JavaScript would be helpful.

Prerequisites

• A laptop (Mac, Windows, and Linux are all supported)
• Download and install NodeJS from http://www.nodejs.org/download/

Mentors

Mentors will be on hand to help you get setup, ask questions, and assist you in your NodeJS adventure.
