Know Node: An Intro to Node.JS & Express

In this workshop, we will learn the foundations of Node and Express and how to build simple backend applications.

Recommended Prerequisites:

• A working knowledge of JavaScript (conditionals, loops, variables, data types, and functions - especially callback functions)
• Basic Commandline Use

• Doors open @ 6:15pm. Lecture will start around 6:30pm. - Come early, get signed in, grab a good seat and shmooze for a bit.
• Bring your laptop! The workshop will be a combination of lecturing and programming.
