Circuits 101

Details

Description:

NodeBots SF is awakening from its winter slumber to bring you a Circuits 101 workshop! Here at NodeBots SF, we build lots of robots powered by JavaScript, but we usually gloss over how those electrical components actually work. No more!

Bryan Hughes us going to lead attendees through a workshop that will teach attendees about the basic electrical components used in building NodeBots: resistors, capacitors, LEDs, transistors, and others.

This workshop will be 100% coding free this time. Just bring yourselves and a desire to learn something new! No hardware experience necessary.

Schedule:

6:00pm: Doors open. Socialize with fellow NodeBots enthusiasts and enjoy food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided).

7:00pm: The workshop begins!

9:00pm: Doors close.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive, safe, and welcoming atmosphere at our events. All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at this event are required to follow our code of conduct (https://github.com/nodebots/sf/blob/master/coc.md).
