Most people listen so they can give advice.
Very few listen well enough to ask the question that changes everything.
The Support Circle is a unique SpeakUp Society experience where participants discover the power of helping people think for themselves instead of telling them what to do.
In this session, someone shares a real challenge, decision, or situation they are currently navigating. The room then responds with questions only. No advice. No solutions. No “you should.” No stories about themselves.
Just thoughtful questions designed to help the person see their situation more clearly.
It sounds simple. It isn't.
Giving advice is easy. Asking a question that unlocks someone else's thinking requires curiosity, patience, and genuine listening.
Throughout the evening, you'll experience how powerful communication isn't always about having answers. Often, it's about creating the space for someone to discover their own.
Together we'll explore the kinds of questions that spark breakthroughs, deepen understanding, and create stronger human connections.
