Join us for an adventure in caging the wild crystal. Hand-formed 'seed pod' style wirework captures the most irregular crystal or treasured stone with ease and elegance. This adaptable technique can be dressed up or dressed down with flourishes, spirals or a tiny pendant drop.

Students may choose from among a collection of rough crystals to start and will work with 18g and finer wire to construct a custom-fitted cage around the stone. This is a great three-dimensional technique for odd shapes and a lesson in free-form wirework.
