This is a morning session starting at 10am. Wan Norby will be teaching.

Every jeweler accumulates a collection of interesting bits and pieces over time - a few quality gemstone rondelles from some completed project, mismatched briolettes too small to make into pendants, short bits of chain.

For this class, bind these these sparkling remnants together with centerpiece selections from Wan's assortment of paired focal pieces to make a pair of unique earrings. Choose from stamped brass, painted steel, shell, cast pewter and many more - check out the second picture posted with this class for a preview!

Expect plenty of variation in the final results. Most pieces will feature a chain bejeweled with gemstones hung over the focal centerpiece.

The techniques are simple: briolette wraps and wrapped-loop dangles. The real challenge here is in choosing a group of beads and pieces that come together in harmony.

That said, the fine wirework involved makes this an intermediate class - bring your reading glasses if you need them!
