Hammered Lunar Link Earrings

These beaded moon earrings never go out of style! Learn what types and gauges of wire to use for this component, how to adjust the size of the moon dangles to your preference, and how to tweak each piece so that the resulting earrings will be a well-matched pair.

Crown each moonlet with a beaded link. We'll have a variety of gemstones to choose from; every pair is different.

Students will work with pliers, hammers and miniature jewelry anvils to shape each drop. Techniques include learning how to shape loops, how to control the hammer in order to evenly flatten wire, and the classic wrapped wire link.
