Here's a brand new style developed by Wan, incorporating briolettes, leather and two weights of wire. This is a great class to learn intermediate wire-wrap skills. Techniques include:
- how to wrap a briolette
- construction of a heavy-gauge wire frame
- ladder wraps around a leather cord
- basketweave to hold the drop frames together at the top
Tons of skills compressed into a small package! All of these techniques will add to the wireworker's toolbox, and the resulting earrings are endlessly adaptable to other metals, colors and stones.
