I’ve studied at language schools abroad before, and welcome events always helped me feel more connected to the city.

After organizing social events in Taipei for over two years, I want to create the same feeling here.

We won’t play pickleball at the venue — this is for meeting future playing partners.

You can freely move between both floors, and you don’t have to sing karaoke.

Do we play pickleball at the event?

Start the night downstairs.

Once you’ve met a few people, head upstairs to sing, listen to music or just hang out together.
Singing is completely optional.
Sometimes the best part isn’t even karaoke — it’s the small group you end up sitting with afterward.

## 🌃 10 PM and still don’t want to go home?

Good.
At around 10:00 PM, guests who still want to continue the night often form a group and head to Maji Square together. 🎶🍻
There are outdoor bars, music, DJs and places to dance.

So when the meetup finishes, you don’t suddenly have to go back to your hotel or start searching Google Maps for somewhere to go alone.

You already have people with you.
Join for one drink, go dancing, grab food afterward, or just keep hanging out with the people you met.

Absolutely.
Many people working remotely have a strange problem:
You can work from anywhere, but that doesn’t automatically give you a social life.

Of course.
You don’t need to be a traveler.
Expats, newcomers, international students and locals are all welcome.

Because the group is international, people naturally speak English, Mandarin and other languages.
But there are no language tables, lessons or structured language practice.

現場通常會有：

因為參加者很國際，現場自然會有人說英文、中文和其他語言。
🌍 但這不是語言交換課。
我們的重點不是「練英文」。
而是：
認識幾個你之後真的可能還會再見的人。

## ❤️ 我們和一般聚會有什麼不同？

很多活動都是：
報名、到場，然後就看你自己。
我們不想這樣。
Taipei Weekend Social 的主持人是真的在「主持」。
他們會：
👋 主動歡迎第一次來的人
🤝 幫忙介紹彼此
💬 把一個人來的人帶進聊天
🌏 幫不同背景的人自然認識
❤️ 注意有沒有人被晾在旁邊
而且有些主持人一開始也只是普通客人。
他們從「第一次一個人來」到後來變成主持人，所以很清楚那個第一步有多難。
很多時候，只差一句：
「來，我介紹你們認識。」
整個晚上就會完全不一樣。
對我們來說，活動成功不是現場塞滿很多人。
而是：
一個原本自己來的人，離開時已經在台北多認識幾個人。

## 🏠 兩層樓，不同方式認識人

### 1F｜喝一杯・聊天・飛鏢 🍻🎯

先從一樓開始。
拿杯飲料、加入聊天，或和剛認識的人玩一局飛鏢。

### 2F｜Karaoke・沙發區 🎤🛋️

認識幾個人之後，可以一起上樓唱歌、聽音樂，或坐著繼續聊。
不想唱完全沒關係。
很多時候，真正讓人熟起來的反而不是唱歌，而是幾個人一起坐著聊到後來。

## 🌃 10 點了，還不想回家？

很好。
大約 晚上 10 點，如果大家還想繼續，通常會有人自由組隊一起去 Maji Square。🎶🍻
那邊有戶外酒吧、音樂、DJ，也有可以跳舞的地方。
所以活動結束之後，你不需要突然又回到：
「好，那我現在要去哪？」

因為你已經有一群剛認識的人可以一起走。
可以去喝一杯、跳舞、吃宵夜，或只是繼續聊天。
Maji 續攤自由參加。
交通、飲品及個別場所可能收取的費用不包含在活動費用中。

### 👋 我一個人來真的沒問題嗎？

完全沒問題。
其實很多人第一次參加，本來就是自己來。
主持人會主動 welcome、介紹你認識其他人，也會幫你加入第一段聊天。
你不用自己一個個去找陌生人自我介紹。

### 💻 我是遠距工作者或 digital nomad，適合嗎？

很適合。
遠距工作最自由的地方，是可以在哪裡都工作。
但有時候最麻煩的地方也是：
生活圈不會自己出現。
這個晚上就是讓你先把電腦闔起來，認識一些工作以外的人。

### 🏠 我本來就住台北，也可以來嗎？

當然可以。
你不需要是旅客。
如果你剛搬來台北、剛換工作、朋友圈比較固定，或只是覺得週末想多認識一些新朋友，都很適合。

### 🗣️ 這是語言交換嗎？

不算。
因為現場很國際，所以大家自然會使用中文、英文或其他語言。
但沒有語言桌、沒有課程，也沒有固定語言練習流程。
重點是：
認識人、一起度過一個有趣的週六晚上。

### 🎤 一定要唱 Karaoke 嗎？

不用。
你可以唱歌、玩飛鏢，也可以整晚都只是聊天。
Karaoke 只是多一個讓大家一起玩的選擇。

### 🍹 不喝酒也可以嗎？

可以。
Tea Bar 有酒精和無酒精飲品。
NT$350 入場費包含一杯飲品。

### 😅 我比較慢熟，也適合嗎？

很適合。
你不需要很外向，也不用很會「社交」。
這正是我們有主持人的原因。
你先出現、跟主持人打個招呼。
