2023 Right of Wave: Ocean Safety and Surf Awareness Day!

🌺Aloha🌊 Non Drinkers Social Club SF! Almost 900 of us!! If you have an event idea you'd like to help host, let me know! And here is a good reason to get your selves out to the beach in Pacifica! 🌊 I'll be passing out Athletic Brewing Company NA Beers 🍻 and speaking🎤 at: RIGHT OF WAVE - Ocean Safety and Awareness Day. I'll definitely be surfing 🏄‍♀️and bringing an extra board if someone wants to learn how to surf! Heres the deets:

• Calling all NorCal surfers, free-divers, open water sports enthusiasts and beach-goers! I’m presenting a workshop at Right of Wave: Ocean Safety and Surf Awareness Day on Saturday, September 30th at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica. You’re invited to attend a free day of workshops and activities that will empower you to safely navigate the ocean, improve your surfing and watersports abilities, and build connections in the community.
• Open to all ages and abilities, this public event will feature a full day of education and participation centered around safety, conservancy, and fun, hosted by experts from California and Hawaii. Workshop topics include ocean safety and risk management, CPR, breathing and breath holding for surf performance, surf etiquette and board control, surf warmups and injury prevention, water quality testing, surf photography and more! You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in power yoga for surfers, a beach cleanup, learn surfing fundamentals (good for all levels), sample delicious food and non-alcoholic beers, and meet local nonprofits to find out how to get involved. Prizes including tickets to future full-day apnea and surf safety training immersion taught by Ricardo Taviera, sponsor merchandise, and more will be offered up in the raffle.
