Join us for a special screening of Raamro Aakha Ma (In the Eyes of the Good) documentary which tells the story of former Maoist combatants, conflict victims, and government officials engaging in a restorative dialogue using nonviolent communication (NVC), following the aftermath of the 10-years armed conflict in Nepal.
It shows what can happen when people are able to connect with one another across divides, beyond fear, stereotypes, and enemy images.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker Carolyn Davies who is also a NVC trainer.

In the interest of financial transparency, the café have kindly given us free use of their space and would like a minimum spend of £50 per hour, so we encourage you to buy food and drinks before and after the screening. They provide homemade meals, gluten free cookies and vegan cakes.
There will be no cost for the screening. Details will be provided on the day if you would like to make an optional donation to support the work.
