Short Hike and Picnic in Oakland

Hi Everyone! I would like to host a short hike/picnic meet and greet. This is a great way to meet new members. We will start at the parking lot mentioned below. There is plenty of street parking on the other side of Skyline in the residential neighborhood. There is a picnic area about a leisurely 45 minute walk in. We can picnic and then continue the hike or those that would like to hang out/turn back can do so. Bring something to sit on and whatever you want to eat/drink. In the comments, let me know if you would like to do this potluck style. We will meet in the parking lot at 10:30, then make our way to the picnic area at 11:00. If the picnic area is completely occupied for some reason, I'll come up with a plan B. There are 3 picnic areas in the vicinity, so it shouldn't be a problem. I can't wait to see everyone there!
