NorCal Persian Hikers 🥾🌲
A friendly Persian hiking group based in Sacramento & Folsom, exploring Folsom Lake, Tahoe, Marin Headlands, North of SF, and the East Bay.
We host day hikes and weekend hikes, mostly moderate to challenging, with clear details on distance, elevation gain, and pace. Hikers should be comfortable with longer miles and elevation. Everyone hikes at their own pace.

Join us for a scenic and social hike on the Western States Trail — a perfect choice for our first group hike! Expect beautiful foothill views, steady climbs, and a relaxed, supportive vibe. We’ll hike at a moderate, regrouping pace — no one gets left behind 😊

- Difficulty: Moderate
- Pace: ~2–2.5 mph (with breaks)
- Terrain: Well-marked dirt trail, rolling hills, some exposed sections ☀️
- Time: ~4.5–5 hours
