About us
Norfolk Photography Tours (previously Norfolk Photography Walks!) were started in 2019 by West Norfolk photographer Jon Clifton (me). I started the walks to offer people a chance to learn and practice photography in beautiful places with some professional guidance.
Walking and photographing the Norfolk coast helped me during a difficult time in life so the events are also run with wellbeing in mind. While there's plenty to learn, events are relaxed, non competitive and open to beginner and hobbyist photographers. Whether you have a smartphone, a new camera or something a little older, it'll be great to welcome you along.
In the seven years photo tours have been running, we've been to numerous locations and attractions across the county. Each year I try to switch things up and add something new. Recently, along with our regular photo walks, we've had our first Norfolk residential breaks and an amazing weekend trip to Venice (Italy) in March 2026. In July I'm also opening things out for artists with a trip to the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery in London.
This is a group where friendly photographers and artists can get together, learn, practice, inspire each other and explore amazing places. There will be walks, workshops, weekend breaks and gallery visits.
