What we’re about

This group is a place for beginners to find their place in a jam, hangout with better players. I want EVERYONE to feel comfortable with folk and Bluegrass music. So if you play Guitar, Banjo, Fiddle, Dobro, Mandolin, and/or Bass, or you'd like to learn, we'd love to have you come out, gain some confidence and experience... and accept some coaching to get you to the "fun" phase... for now, the only "requirements" are that you know the chords G, C, D, A and the 7ths that correspond to each... that's literally it... know how to play those chords on your instrument, and be able to switch between them at a slow tempo and you can come and join us... get out of your bedroom and play with other people :)

We hold strong to a commitment to individual and group efforts to build respect, dignity, fairness, caring, equality, and self-esteem among all people, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, gender identity, sexuality, and disability and we believe that everyone can benefit in the fun and camaraderie of playing bluegrass music together.
