Norristown Community Chorale

The Norristown Chorale has been a staple in Norristown, PA since 1977. We are a community group that runs from September through May for both a winter semester and a spring semester. We have around 50 members ages 21-91. We sing classic chorale music, some sacred, some secular, and some well known favorites for the holidays.

Practices are on Tuesday evenings from 7pm-9pm.

We host two public concerts each semester and 1-2 paid concerts at local senior living centers. We also have a community care initiative where we host volunteer days and community drives.

This is a semi-professional choir. Our members should have some experiences with group singing, and be committed to practices and performances. It does require reading music, or at least being able to follow along and stay consistent with the group.

Our next semester begins September 1st. The first two weeks of each semester are the audition and registration weeks followed by our first practices.
