Calling all adventurous women who love the great outdoors! Join our North County Women Only Hiking Group for some fun and challenging hikes along the beautiful trails of North County San Diego. Whether you are a seasoned hiker or new to the sport, all levels are welcome. Let's explore the stunning natural landscapes, enjoy the fresh air, and make new friends along the way. Get ready to immerse yourself in nature, get a great workout, and create lasting memories. So grab your hiking boots and come join us on our next adventure!
Rules and Regulations of group: Please don't sign up for an event if you are thinking that you may cancel. If you do need to cancel please cancel and send me a message so that I know you are not coming to the event because I do wait around and look for you. Also hiking and walking are at your own personal risk. We all take responsibility for ourselves when we sign up for an event. Thank you so much for understanding.
This group has a a yearly dues. I suggest $10/6months-$20/year. This is a suggestion for all meetup groups. I pay $198.00/6months to maintain this group page on meetup.

Cabrillo monument opens at 9am and closes at 5pm
There is a fee to enter to see Cabrillo National Monument. According to the write up the fee changes depending on the vehicle that enters the park. The hike is 2.3 miles long with a 341 Elevation and is said to e an easy trail.
We will not visit the tide pools due to inconvient low tides. We will hike Bayside trail, Oceanside trail and Coastal trails.
The Cabrillo Monument commemorates the landing of Jan Rodriguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542. According to history this was the first European expedition on what later became the West Coast of the U.S.
